Dear Lolly, What are your symptoms of fibrosis? I have been having lung pain, shortness of breath, and wheezing since the beginning of August, which was 3 months after completing radiation. I've had CT scan of lungs since, with a 75% reduction of the tumor on my mediastnime and no mass seen on or in the lung. Also, no pleural effusion seen. Blessings, Lu Ann.

I'm having CT scan done this Fri. I just had my 6th round of tx's. I do taxol, carbo, and herceptin, 3 weeks on/1 off, and zometa once a month. I started having these symptoms when I went off oxycontin and went on a fenalyn patch for the compression fracture I have in my back. My overall pain increased with the change of meds, but I'm not constipated anymore and it was a good trade-off for me. I will let you know the result of the CT scan next Wed. Thankyou and Blessings, Lu Ann.

I am very concern about the side effects of chemo. However, the way I look at it we don't have a choice. Its either die from the disease of from the treatments which will shut our body down eventually. I am experiencing neuropathy of the hands and feet and I know of people who are unable to use their hands because of it. I love to do handy work such as knit, crochet, paint etc. I do fear that I will not be able to do these things and yet I will still be living. Hugs, Sandy
