For constipation, my oncologist told me to use Citrucel and it worked. I still use it every once in a while as I do have diverticulosis and I haven't been able to exerice regularly for the past couple of years due to the effect of brain tumor (life-long Central Neurocytoma - unrelated to BC, but might have genetic links.)

Never had used cold caps, never shaved my head during chemo (2003, 2007). The hair fell off gradually and there were a few stubborn ones that never would go away. I wore a wig cushioned with a small silk handkerchief (which keeps the scalp cool) at work and wore a baseball cap at home. Couldn't go bald because I'm cold-natured (often due to iron deficiency anemia) and there's a huge scar accross my head from the 1990 craniotomy.

Now I'm home most of the time and I don't wear anything unless it's cold. Hairs in certain area (back side near the neck) have remained black. But all other parts are white - I was salt & pepper even back in high school. Mother had dyed her hair all the way till she's 70, a few years before she's diagnosed with NHL. (She's been doing fine, will celebrate her 90th birthday in half year.) But I only had dyed my hair for several years out of the urge of my late Mother-in-law (so I'd have better chance to find/keep a job). Once I was diagnosed with cancer, I quit touching any chemicals ...
