Thanks Maryanne,

Does anyone know if lactic acid is the active ingredient in Replens?

Thank you, Harrie. I found a lactic acid gel that is being sold in the UK (Balance Activ) as a treatment for bacterial vaginosis, so if you are looking for something similar in the US that information might help you find it. Clino-San doesn't seem to be something that can be purchased very easily.

you can't blame a girl for trying...

Harrie-canary...FYI - I emailed the clinical trial doc in Korea! regarding clino-san. Here's (her?) (gosh I hope it wasn't a guy) the reply:

First of all, Clino-san (pH-balanced vaginal gel) is available in Europe and Korea. However, I'm not sure it's available in the US. And, our clinical trial was closed last Feb. I'm sorry that I cannot help you.

But, how about to try vaginal lubricant? Replens is one of the vaginal lubricants effective on vaginal atrophy, and this agent is available in the US.

I hope you will get well soon.
Kindly regards,
Yookyung Lee
