The Importance of Saturated Fats for Biological Functions

A very interesting look at the use by the body of short chain fats as part of the body's defenses.

Thought provoking as to the margerine / butter argument.

I previously posted some information on coconut fat (high in lauric acid) impacting on fats metabloism and being considered as having antibacterial properties.

Good reasons to include a little butter an coconut - I did say a little.
