But also newly diagnosed with mets - huge liver and lymphangitic lungs. Starting on taxol (again), carboplatin, & herceptin Mon (8 hrs!) Scarey stuff...

Just know that the people on this board can help with your fear...they are all pretty courageous and very helpful...these are scary times. Also know that you have courage -- as it is not an absence of fear, but struggling through in spite of fear. Take care...my thoughts are with you.

Know exactly how you feel! I, too, had MAJOR liver mets over 2 years ago. Enrolled in a new trail with taxol, navelbine & herceptin. This combo knocked it out with weekly treatments for about 6.5 months. My doc advised 3 extra treatments even though PET said NED. I grudgingly did that, and am still NED!
