Some of us have already posted our thoughts and feelings a while back about this "awareness" month that the media uses for tear-jerking stories with little hope. WE do not need that. We all can write books that would tear the heart out of the most stoic person.
In line with doing something positive with family or a friend, I am going to Maui with a survivor friend who has active cancer for the 3rd time. She has the lovely condo and no one to share it with. My hubby says, "Go, have a GREAT time!"

It's true that it seems like we get "hit over the head" with it every time we turn around during the month of October, but I also think it DOES serve to boost fundraising, which we know is important. I'm just selective about what I read and watch on TV.

Love, Lolly
