Here is our Stage IV Rights rebuttal to the Opposition :

Support these Bills - bring true compassion to the Compassionate Use laws - cut the FDA Red- Tape. Send them a message - Respect Our Stage IV Rights - without our Sacrifice , NONE of these drugs get approved !

YES on Prop 303! I have the sign promoting passage of it displayed in my front yard. Everyone we (my husband, teenage daughter, and I) have talked to, both liberals and conservatives are in favor of 303 and we're talking to EVERYBODY; friends, family and complete strangers!

Re: Arizona Prop 303 - Right To Try

Right to try laws do not require that your insurance company pay for the treatments, and if you suffer medical complications as the result Of taking an experimental drug, insurance won't cover that, either.

Phase 1 trials are often quite small and I suspect most drugs never make it to Stage 2 or 3.

I also think these laws wil make it easier for quacks to sell "miracle cures" to desperate cancer patients. (Stanislaw Burzinski for example)

Re: Arizona Prop 303 - Right To Try

Shirley, you would deny those who want the right to try?

No one is forcing you to take anything. You have the right to die.

Thank you very much for your concerns, but you are taking away my right to choose what I want to do with treating my body.

Basically what you are telling me that people are just too stupid to make that kind of decision. It is best to just let them die.

lizbeth , you know some people have already made up their minds before they even read something. the " quack " comments etc. plays right into the stereotype, scare tactics of the ignorant opposition. as I said in our rebuttal - do your research ! these drugs are better and better, recommended by your trained oncologist. comp use costs are often covered by co.'s as drugs near approval. many stage ivs who have never tried to get comp use don't get how broken the system is. your on 940 - 970 comp uses granted yearly for ALL diseases in a country of 314 million !! , many don't realize that this new activist fda since 2009 is looking to reject drugs rather than approve-
