I was just curious on how many if any of you have twins? I had twins in 98 and was dxed in 2001. My onco said there is no evidence that it has any effect but I am er/pr highly positive and wonder if with the twins my estrogen was very high. I also notice on all my medical files it always says on there mulitples.

My Gosh, how old are you? Of course, you don't have to answer that but your twins are young. I hope you are doing well. Enjoy those precious little ones! Hugs, Sandy

I had twins (boys) in 1986 (then a girl in 1991), and was diagnosed with bc in April 2002. I'm ER-, PR-, her2+++, so mine doesn't appear to be estrogen driven.

I have 2 year old twins and dx...

when they were about 18 months. Even though I am BRCA 2, I definately think that having twins and doing infertility treatment caused me to get the cancer sooner rather than later. I had one Tumor that was very ER/PR+ and another that was Her2+.

Hi, I had twin boys in 94. Diagnosed in 05 and am triple pos. I wouldn't be suprised if the increase in hormones might be somehow related, but I guess the there aren't any studies that show this. Best of luck. BB

Didn't have twins but had a miscarriage and a full term pregnancy just before my breast cancer was diagnosed or misdiagnosed shall you say. Yes, I think the hormones had a hay day with my breasts and body.
