Casting For Recovery

Hi Ladies
It has been a while since I've posted but wanted to share something wonderful. This past weekend I had the fantastic opportunity to be selected as one of 14 BC survivors to participate in Casting for Recovery. What a fabulous program. The 14, at no cost to us were treated to a 2 night retreat where we shared in our experiences, concerns and triumphs. They had a breast surgeon, onc nurse and 2 pshycologist at our disposal and taught us to Fly Fish!! The outpouring of charity was amazing with 14 fishermen donating their time on Sunday to be our private river guides! Dont' get me started on the food and gifts. This is a wonderful not for profit group that are really reaching out to women in recovery. If you have a chance to either donate or participate please do.

I am so going to do this. I almost signed up for the same one you probably were probably at. I printed out the form but did not send it in before the deadline. Glad you had a great time. I am sure this time next year I will be ready for a break from the baby and have a get away. Maybe a few of us could go together.
