Christine, long term survivors?

I read on the other boards that you are looking for stories form long term her2 survivors. I think it is a great idea and great encouragement to others. Do you know of any long term survivors who are her2+, node+, and have not had a recurrence? Did they have herceptin? Thanks.

Boy did I goof. I posted everywhere except here !!!
I know of several, including both of our superstars Barbara and Ginger. Unfortunately most of the present long term survivors were Stage IV when they recieved Herceptin.

More information will be available when the results of present clinical trials of Herceptin to prevent recurrence are published..probably within a year.
