Preventing heart damage

L-carnitine helped my heart recover from a low LVEF apparently due to Anthracycline (Adriamyacin) followed by Herceptin. I would recommend this study to new HER-2 patients.

Ability of L-Carnitine to Prevent Heart Damage in Breast Cancer Patients Receiving Anthracycline Chemotherapy.

This study will assess the potential role of L-carnitine in the prevention of anthracycline induced heart damage. We will enroll 144 patients into this study.
