My Story - Dede

I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer stage 4 on March 28th 2003. I started on taxatere and epirubicin once every three weeks and have just taken my 5th out of 6 doses. My latest scan showed my mets to liver (started out w/6) were virtually gone. My mass in my breast (started out 9x10cm) was not even measurable @ this time. I will have one more chemo then begin herceptin every 3 weeks for the rest of my life. I will not need my breast removed nor need a lumpectomy as things stand right now.
I thank God my treatments have gone so well. This has opened my eyes up to what is really important in my life.
