Hello everyone. I have had 13 whole brain radiation treatments, and I'm on 4 mg. of decadron a day. I had cut it down to 2 mg., but I've had headaches the last two days and increased it back to 4 mg. My legs have gotten so weak the last few days that I can't stand for very long. They feel like they are going to give out from under me. Has anyone had this side effect?

Carla,
My friend went through WBR and her legs also became weak - I believe it was the Decadron that caused it.

Thanks for the reply. I went to the mall yesterday and walked around a bit and felt a whole lot better--I had to make myself but I could tell I needed it.

My husband is 82 years old and has weakness in his legs. He can not stand for any length of time. Doctor's can't give us any answers. Any suggestions?
