It is called BrainLab. BrainLab, in actuality, is a computer software system that works in companionship with a linear accelerator. It provides a noninvasive delivery of a precise dose of high-energy radiation, with pinpoint accuracy, to a tumor or arteriovenous malformation (AVM).

BrainLab software fuses images made from MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and CT (computerized tomography) images pixel by pixel for an exact target of the tumor or lesion.

Thanks for that most excellent explanation. I didn't really understand the difference and because it was my only option (insurance-wise), I complacently followed dr.'s orders. Thanks again for a good explanation.
