Some Good News
I just got results from my latest PET Scan. If showed remarkable decrease in my liver since the previous scan in February. My onc is going to keep me on weekly Herceptin, bi-weekly Taxol for another couple of months and scan me again, but this is GREAT NEWS.
On another note - wish me luck I have to have my port replaced tomorrow. I know it is a simple surgery and after everything I have been through this should be a piece of cake, but I am actually a little nervous.
Thanks
Stephanie B.

That's wonderful news Stephanie. That news must have made your day.
As for your port placement tomorrow, don't worry! It will all be fine.

Stephanie, It sure sounds like the Taxol & herceptin is a GREAT one two punch! That is fantastic news. May your next scan come back completely clean. I have a good feeling it will. As to your port...its quite normal to be a bit nervous. I don't care how much we all go through...its still stuff we don't really want to do but we have too. But I am sure it will be a breeze after all you've been through. Sending warm positive thoughts and prayers your way.

Stephanie, sounds like you have a winning treatment combination. Hope it continues to have such great results for a long time to come.
The port replacement should be a fairly quick, easy procedure. Let us know how you do.
