Thanks for your wonderful prayers

I have no doubt that your prayers helped. My PETSCAN and CT scanned show very little changes in my ribs and liver (i.e. still there, but remaining stable).

This morning I go in for a gallblader scan. I do hope this is the answer, because this pain in my tummy area, while causing desireable weight loss, is no fun at all.

You know, my intuition is usually so right on. I got NO sleep Wed. night and fully expected to be sent to the hospital or hospice. I need to remember that intuition is a gift and be thankful when it is right on. But I must be careful not to expect anything.

I'll keep you all posted.

Love and light to all,

Lisa

great news Lisa. I have had unexplained abdominal pain on my right side for 1 yr. Had Ct scan, chest x-ray and all. Sometimes you can't explain why it hurts. I have a feeling it could be digestive.

Take care.

Yeah!

Lisa, I AM SO HAPPY about stable disease for you. I pray for you all the time and I would hope that you would always ask for more when you need it. I'll be curious to hear the gall bladder results.

I had had a lot of weird belly pain and discomfort when I was having progression and when I wasn't some too. I felt much better after I read in a e-newsletter from Cancer Consultants that just having been subjected to so much chemo can mess up the digestive system in wacky ways. Miraculously, I have felt better since I read it.

Also, you may already know this, UCHSC is now an EAP site for Tykerb-720.848.0630, Megan is the gal to talk to.

Glad to hear things are looking up. My intuition is seldom wrong too, but it has been maybe once or twice. Hope the news gets better and better. You really do deserve a good break right about now. Best wishes, BB

Smile Thanks GOD for the news Lisa

I could not wait to hear how your scan results turned out. Stable is not necessarily bad, everything under control so to speak. I know how anxious that waiting for the results can be. So this news is good.

Let us know how your gall bladder test came out. I always have some type of digestive issues with my chemo's . Those chemo's can do a number on that area. But it is always best to check to be sure so you are doing the right thing in having this test.

Take Care Lisa

Lisa,

I just posted on your original post that I would pray for you. I will continue to do so. Chemo can leave us with so many "after effects". Let's hope your pain will improve soon.
