Hi Ladies,

Well, it's that time again....time for my ct scan of my abdomen and chest. As you probably know from my posts, I've done well on the taxotere/herceptin/carboplatin until the last couple of weeks when the side effects started--fluid in the lungs, and lots of swelling of my feet and legs. Saw a cardiologist-heart fine--ejection fraction high 50's. Chest x-ray did not show any "spots".-, just some fluid.

I'm scared, but at the same time confident that this combo has done it's job. This is always the most difficult part of all of this--waiting for results of scans. I know you have all been there and know what i'm feeling.

Please say some prayers for me. I would really appreciate it.

Blessings and Hugs,

Linda in MI.

Linda-
Prayers coming your way...and if you have any Xanax handy, I suggest you take one or two!Scan time is alway "Kooky Time" for me...lots of teeth grinding, restless nights, etc.I try and schedule lunch with my girlfriends afterwards, get a manicure, and just try and stay comforted.
Keep the faith & let us know the results.
Prayers, faith & courage!
Jessica
