Smile Ah Yeah, Dr Gott....

I was going to mention the bar of soap thing and thought my girls may ask if I am sneaking into Ed's medication!! LOL. DO NOT LAUGH BECAUSE I AM ONE WHOM SLEEPS WITH THE BAR EVERY NOW AND AGAIN. IT WORKS FOR ME. Thanks for speaking when I was too busy laughing and thinking of how to introduce this concept to our friends without them thinking I am in need of some help!! I am still chuckling. Wink bar of soap

I haven't got this problem, but I know many people (most of them seniors) who swear by "sleeping with a bar of soap under their legs." It sounds crazy but these people say it works. One gentleman even told me that only Ivory soap works for him....it's an easy enough thing to try.

Steph,
I have been plagued with leg cramps for forever. The ones that really get to me are in my inner thigh and spread around to my back (sacrum) because there is no way to stretch them out until the spasm lessens. My pharmacist told me that tonic water (which is quinine ) should work just as well. I have been drinking diet tonic water ( 50 cents a quart bottle) from Wal Mart and it works very well. It is a fairly refreshing drink. I do the diet because as you can see I don't need a lot more sugar in my diet.
Hope this helps,
Marlys
