Off topic but interesting site about makeup

Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Database - Browse
Maybe we should be taking a closer look at what we put on our skin.

That's kind of bizarre that you posted this because I was looking online, for a place to buy a certain kind of shampoo I like, up popped this site.
Seems the shampoo I like has Green Dye that causes cancer. May be why I can't find it now!

Brenda, if the post helps just one person, I'm happy. I couldn't believe all the makeup and brands that are listed on that site. I found it to be very helpful, glad you did too.

Yes, I think it's a good site to look at before you buy. I was surprised by the fact that my shampoo has cancer causing agents. Yikes!

It is not only what you are using that needs to thought about, but how old your stuff is too. Makeup does go bad and carries germs. If you are using sponge applicators, replace them often. Brushes need to be cleaned too. Alcohol works really well because it dries quickly. You should never share your eye or lip makeup. If you get pink eye - throw everything out or clean it really good! Don't forget to change your toothbrush too. Every three months is supposed to be good, but if you get thrush - make sure you change the tooth brush often!!! While your at it, check your medication expiration dates...I do this every six months, make a list and replace what was thrown out.

Unhappy I Am Appalled..

I sell Avon and was very disgruntled to know that there have been little changes with cancer causing agents in our lipsticks, even though many we removed from most brands. And just to think that Avon promotes and supports BREAST CANCER!! Ugghh!! And how about this promotional line??: Avon Is The Company For Women!! What a crock!!>>Believe51

PS: Maybe will not post too much more today because Avon is due a nice LONG letter from Believe!!!!
