13 NED stage 3C breast Cancer and 2 years Ovarian

Hi all;

I am so happy to tell you that I am surviving well. In 2004 I was diagnosed with stage 3C her2+ breast cancer. NED for all this time with that....wow. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June of 2015. STAGE 1. Amazing. I had no symptoms....except having to pee often and a swipe of blood which I reacted to immediately. The blood was ultimately from the arimidex affecting my uterus and nothing to do with my ovaries but it lead to me having an ultrasound and MRI followed by a hysterectomy (can't remember the name of it.....but included all sorts of special things...lol), followed by the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

We CAN survive, we can thrive and we can enjoy life beyond cancer.....even multiple cancers. Pay attention to your body. Act quickly to any and all symptoms. Thinking of you all. My second life began here and I am forever grateful.

Cathy
