Very important area...this is a nice article. We are testing most of our patients routinely now. I hope this will be the standard of care since it is estimated that 90% of us are deficient. Thanks for posting.

Nice article. Thanks. I take vitamin D everyday. My naturopath suggested it after my vitamin D blood test results came back low. It has improved since then, but I still take vitamin D everyday, but not as much as when I started taking it. It might be helping my osteoarthritis as well as everything else.

Vitamin D is fat-soluble vitamin, which play a key role is to support the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine and to build and maintain bone mass. Beyond the role of calcium metabolism, but also helped to reduce inflammation, prevent the growth of malignant cells, a moderate immune response, and clearing the atmosphere.
