Researchers explore impact of hair products on breast cancer risk

Can use of hair products have an impact on breast cancer risk for women? That is a question explored by Rutgers University investigators – and colleagues from Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center.

Hmmm, this is interesting! Ok, let's have a poll! Me first. I began going gray in my teens and started dying my hair with brown dye in my twenties.

Guess I fit the research!

Bilat SPM w/reconstruction 10/08
Clinical Trial w/Clondronate 12/08
Stopped Clondronate--too hard on my gizzard!
Switched back to Tamoxifen due to tendon pain from Femara

Gee this is concerning. I have also died my hair dark brown since my early twenties. Always wondered whether there was a connection between the two.
