I am still responding really well to the clinical trial of Herceptin and Avastin with further shrinkage of the skin mets. (Only one month!) It's really quite dramatic in my case with skin tumors melting away. The largest one which is completely gone was almost an inch. The worrisome thing is that I have hole (smaller than the tumor itself) there instead. It's draining quite a bit too. It's been a smelly, messy affair. My doctor told me not to worry, better not to have a tumor and she says the hole will close up. Wishing you all well, Carol

Keep up the good work as well as keeping us posted on this new combination. We need to know these things!

Carol, that's a remarkable response! I'm sure the drainage site is distressing, but am sure your doctor is right and you'll heal up soon.
Hugs, Lolly

Carol,

That is amazing news...I'm sure it's unnerving to have the drainage hole, but I'm sure it will heal just nicely. By the way who is conducting this clinical trial, I assume it is phase 1??
