The following quote from the web site on that study made me think I could participate:
"Title Phase II Study of a HER-2/neu (HER2) Intracellular Domain (ICD) Peptide-based Vaccine Administered to Stage IV HER2 Positive Breast Cancer Patients Receiving Trastuzumab Monotherapy

Study Population / Indication Patients with HER2 overexpressing Stage IV breast cancer who have previously been treated with trastuzumab alone or in combination with chemotherapy, have no evidence of disease (NED) or stable bone only disease, and are currently on maintenance trastuzumab."

There is nothing about being newly diagnosed or 6 months only on Herceptin. I am also a little confused about how a newly diagnosed stage IV patient can qualify unless they have had a good and QUICK response to treatment for their mets. Most women seem to need more than time to reach NED or proven stable.
Can you tell us more?
Thanks again and I will keep checking for vaccine trial possibilities. I remain NED.
