Exclamation "Arimidex"

Hello,

I am currently completing my 2nd week of radiation, scheduled for six more. My oncologist has suggested at the completion of my radiation treatment I begin Arimidex.
Just wondering if anyone has taken this drug.

The side effects that I have read about from others taking this drug are very disturbing. I certainly want to prevent my cancer from returning, but also want to be able to enjoy my life. Comments please??!!??

Wink Arimidex

You can probably get information about side effects from www.arimidex.com.
Don't wouldn't worry too much about the disturbing effects others have told you about. Each person's body and health condition are different. Also other health problems those people might have may also be the causing disturbing side effects they tell you about. Find out as much as you can about the drug from reliable before you make your decisions. Only consider the disturbing news you hear from others if the majority of people who tell you those things are experiencing the same thing.

My mom took this for adjuvant stage before mets were found. She had stiffness and bone pain whcih the onc suggested were unrelated but patient forums suggestde were fairly common. Ask your onc if Aromasin has been considered.
