~Thanks For These Last 2 Years Together~

I wanted to post yesterday and give thanks for the last 2 years of your loving support but was too busy. March 30, 2007 was the first day I visited this site under Marie G. That was before I realized that I needed a stronger name to fight this battle with hubby. If I think about it I can still hear the panic and sadness in my voice, the sheer terror of it all.

My have we grown through the many baby steps we had to endure. Our lives have become better than ever with you all in our world. For this I cannot thank you enough. We love you all and find that we now want to be here rather than we have to be here, if you catch my drift. Thanks again for your unconditional love and support. We revel in your achievements and we walk besides you through the darkest of your nights.

Some people do not understand that we want to be a family, they think it is too depressing. I tell them that there are few things that are more depressing than cancer, that it is not all bad. This place is a part of the world only we can explain and understand. It is sad that we must, but important that we do.

As I sit here and cry, I once again thank you for sharing your lives with us. Thanks for letting us into your world. My heart knows this journey would be more challenging without this family in our daily lives. You are all an inspiration to us that filters hope and love. We have been through so much together through this time and I could not think of better people to have this close to my heart. I could not think of better people to let into my soul.

And friends, the amount of hope and miracles we witness are the many wonders we grow on. Here is to you, a post all of your own, a tribute from the heart. May we be blessed enough to witness together the miracle of a cure or something very close to it.

Believe51

PS: Although I have always 'Believed' you all have helped me to continue to do so.

No, thank YOU

Marie, you are such a blessing to us all - when you share how you are encouraging, loving, and (sometimes) pushing your Mighty Oak, you are also doing the same for us.

This IS like a family - only much more intense. There's no time for such nonsense as holding back, good news or not-so-good, joys, sorrows, love and solidarity. We are all lucky to have each other.

I'll not go so far as to say lucky to be dealing with cancer, but I do feel my life would not be nearly as full without all of you. I hope you were crying because you were coming to a place where you know love abounds.

Hugs and love to you and Ed (as I sit with tears streaming down MY face!)
Chris

Given the circumstances and acceptence of our lives have allowed us to achieve and to share that unabounded love. And yes Lovey, that would explain those tears of mine. Thank you so much, this is another important day for Ed and I.>>Believe51

Marie,

Thank you and the Mighty Oak for being part of our lives. Your kind words and understanding was one of the things that helped me to get through the early months of this journey. You and the Mighty Oak gave me a big boost last week when I had to get on the airplane to fly to Seattle.

I love both of you.

When will you know the results of the PET?
