Checking in...

You all were a wonderfully constant source of support for me, and I was so fortunate to be able to put cancer in my rearview mirror - at least for now. I remain humbled and inspired by your stories. I check in and read a bit now and then. I realized that the stories of continued survivorship were a big part of what got me through, so here I am to do the same. It's been almost 2.5 years since my dx, and I'm going strong. I am more physically active and healthy than ever. I'm so lucky that the toll chemo and rads took was not insurmountable, and I feel deeply for those who still continue to suffer side effects. I do have "mild" lymphodema in my right arm/hand, but I manage. I recently got a Normatec pump for free thanks to insurance. I'm hopeful that it will help manage it and mitigate further swelling. My heart is with all of you daily. Hugs and love to you all! Linda
