Help with what to say

Hi Everyone,

A friend of mine is battling brain cancer. I found out last night that the cancer is growing and they cannot do anymore chemo or rads.

Anyway, I guess they are not wanting calls, but cards. I need help with the right words. What do I say? I am not close to them. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Olivia

A card would be nice

Most cards already have the words written for you- but a nice little "I am thinking of you" in your own handwriting is always best.
I think that most women fighting this disease have thunk and thunk about end of life issues (goes with the territory) and a card wishing her well is a good alternative to not being able to speak to her.
I personally received many cards form people I did not think were my friends, and received nothing from some whom I thought were... In the end, any act of kindness -even if its a card, is a pretty good way of showing someone you care.
I did recieve some yummy apples from a friend and all my family enjoyed that more than reading the cards...

Warmly,
Maria
