Part of Heavenly Host

Dear Mel -
Lisa welcomed me to this board so many years ago when it was in its infancy and there were just a few of us "regulars" here. I was fighting my way out of a bad relapse and she urged me on through all my misery.

Then we made an attempt to work on a booklet just for HER2 positive women before she relapsed. That project sort of died, but I enjoyed the conversations we had.

Lisa had a lot to contribute to this HER2 community board from her experience with non-profits and her own fight.
She often mentioned what a wonderful, caring, supportive husband she had. I recall her big thrill at becoming a grandmother.

What mostly comes to mind when I think of Lisa is her ability to care so much for others and put aside her own situation to reach out to others in need. I hope I have learned this from her, even though I don't do it as well.

Let us know about a memorial or other service, please. And, Mel, I send my sincerest wish that the good Lord will ease this loss for you.

I've been off the boards for a while, and am so saddened by this. Lisa was truly inspirational to me when I was first diagnosed in 2004.

Good speed lisa.....love and light
