nausea

I have been on herceptin (every 3 weeks) since Sept. 05 and in Jan. developed severe nausea that would come & go every few days. I seem to be over this now but does anyone else have nausea or sore mouth (blisters) from herceptin.

Hi there

Have you told your onc. about the nausea? They may want to do some tests. Don't want to freak you out though, but you should mention it.

Love Lisa

I got sore mouth/blisters while on A/C. My oncologist prescribed "magic mouthwash" but it made my lips and mouth numb. She then prescribed "lido/nyst/diphedryl/maalox" which works wonders.

Yes, I told my onc. last week and he says the nausea isn't caused from the herceptin. Asked me if I might be getting upset seeing the other chemo patients. Told me to see family dr. to find out why I was having dizziness & nausea. Thankfully it is gone for now and I hope never to return.

Thankfully my blisters only last a few days and if I am careful and don't drink anything too hot then I can live with it. Only one time that I really wanted magic mouthwash which I hate but I suffered thru and got over it.
