Tykerb and herceptin combo effectiveness for IBC

Have just read the article on the board about the effectiveness of tykerb for IBC when other treatments have not worked.
This has made me wonder if there have been any trials looking at this combo as first or second line treatment for metastatic ibc?
I also noticed that a number of our sisters on the her2 group seem to be using it to good effect.
Any info?

The only thing I know about tykerb is two weeks ago when I was at MD Anderson I ask about taking it to prevent Her2 from metastasizing to the brain(I have clear brain MRI). I was told that it is not used for this purpose at this time.
