I will be attending the AARC meeting in San Diego on April 11th the 16th 9I AM VERY EXCITED), and I was thinking, if Tex and Tiptoe weren't too busy, I'd LOVE to have them join me on my flight from NY to Cali...?? I can take pics and post them with updates at night. Since I will be at the HER2support table for most of the vendor exhibits (I hope I get bathroom breaks Joe), maybe the little guys (as our mascots) can help out?? Please let me know if any pre-existing plans/appointments/vacations or obligations can be rearranged to make this happen??? Thanks...

Great idea Maryann - taking them to San Diego for the conference. I think it would be fun to take them to the Cure Day of Caring weekend in Denver (May 2-5...). If they aren't spoken for at that time, maybe I could have them visit me again for a couple of days and let other survivors meet them in person at our table there!

I just read the 2008 schedule update and see that Steph is scheuduled to have them visit her early April. Since she will possibly be my roomie for the conference maybe she can fly them to Cali and I pass them on to me (plus she gets to see them for the extra few days). I'll take pics and do updates each night...they can fly home to Long Island with me and then make I'll send them off to hutchibk who can send them off to Maryanne in Tx (next on the list). I sent a private message to Steph. If this is a problem, I will understand but this will make my first visit to California more special than it already will be!! Plus, the little guys will get to see Joe and Christine and anyone else that might stop by...

Wink My Love To Laurie And Maryann...

I am beside myself with glee! Laurie you are awesome. Thanks so much for the updates, the great pics, and sharing your hamster experience w/all of us -- who are out of touch but soooo wanting to be in the loop! I have missed my former house guest, my babe, Tippy. Sorry. I was 2nd on the list, and somehow I feel like a co-parent. I know Pinkie is The Mom, but she has generously allowed me to think Tipsy is also mine. I'm guessing many of us feel that way. Tiptoe just has that charismatic way about her. Makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world!

Maryann what a fabulous idea to let Tip and Tex escort you to the conference. PLUS -- THANK YOU THANK YOU for promising to give us daily updates, pics and all. THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! Just what I've been dreaming up. Following our mascots travels across the country, and beyond. You're a real sweetheart. But we all knew that. Madame Dubois you rock!

Madame Dubois,
This sounds great to me. We decided a while back that
the schedule will be changed if necessary.

I just feel bad about you guys having to fly them back
and forth and pay for their flights. I hope you only
have to purchase one seat for them.

You might have to sneak up behind Joe and place Tippy
on his shoulder....I'm not sure if he is a big fan of Tip and
Tex. But I'm sure you will be able to convince him to participate
in at least one photo shoot. I think Joe and Christine need to meet
the kids - they need to see what the rest of us are doing while
they are working so hard for us !!!

Attachment 367

Hope you guys can work it all out.
