Thanks for the info. I was so naive that I thought, based on what I had read on the internet, that this is the therapy that I would be given when diagosed last Novermber. I was very upset to find that I couldn't get it and that my onc goes strictly by the book. I like the fact that my onc knows what is going on with clinical trials and the latesest published reports but he is unable, due to his assoication with the cancer group he is in, and unwilling, to go out on any limb for treatment. I am NED and pray to stay that way, but if I ever shouldn't be, I will probably change doctors. I may change anyway if I can find a doctor more accepting and interested in integrative medicine.
Thanks to this group we can stay a step ahead of many doctors, though it doesn't always help what treatment we can get. :-(
