Hey girl

Did you hear anything yet? I am sure you are anxious as we are for you too. I would tell you to chill but I wouldn't nor would any of us.

Is it getting any better? Try and have a nice weekend and smile as it makes your whole body smile too.

Thinking of you.

Hey Everyone,

I didn't hear back from my pcp. I am hoping this is good news? My onc did call me at 8:30 this morning. When I answered the phone and she said it was her, my heart sank. I thought the worst. However, she was phoning to get some more info on the rash/lesion and asked me to try not to worry too much until we hear back from pathology. I told her I'd try not to worry. Gosh, I wish it were that easy!

I will let you all know as soon as I hear the news. Thank you so much for all your kindness. It makes me feel so cared for.

Hugs and Prayers Always,
Lexi

Your Oncologist called you? I never get calls from my Oncologist , when I have questions and leave messages for him to call..i get his nurse..who takes forever to call back. This is one thing I really don't like about him. Is it common for most of you to have your oncologist call you personally?

Dear Lexi,

I was so happy to wake up to an update from you this morning. I was also happy to hear that you have nothing to report as of yet. I, too, am hoping that means it's good news.

All of us on this board feel your anxiety. We all "get it." When one of us waits for results, we ALL wait for results. I am waiting with bated breath (wish they'd hurry up as I'm running out of air)

A note to sherry...............my onc. only called me one (my old one - I have a new one now but have only seen him once and pray I never even get to know this one ) Anyway, my old one called me once when I had a mammogram and was called by my surgeon to say "they found a suspicious area" my onc. called me later that day to say she was "sorry to hear this happened to me...........they were all thinking of me................and try not to worry.......let's see what this is first" Anyway, otherwise, I only talk to the nurse too. I THINK that's normal.

Here is hoping that no news is good news....saying prayers that it will be mothing. Sherry, I get calls from my oncologist even with my scan reports...she knows how hard it is to wait, and as soon as she gets the report, ususally 24 hours, she calls me. If I have a problem, I have her number and her home number. I like that I can reach her almost anytime if I need to.

Lexi, I'm keeping the good thoughts coming that this is nothing serious, hoping it's just a reaction to your fabric softener or something! You hang in there.

It's NEGATIVE FOR CANCER!!! Thank you Jesus! Thank you sisters for your prayers and your love! I am in tears. My husband called the dr 10 mins ago. I couldn't call. I felt like I couldn't hear any bad news. Ed just called and told me the doctor said the path came back inflammatory as in possible spider bite! We will keep an eye on it as it hasn't changed in color. It is still red and I am running a low grade fever.

Thanks again for your love and support. I do not know what I would do with out all of you.

Love,
Lexi

Hi Lexi,

I'm soooooooooooo happy for you, I just came back from a mountain trip and saw your post. There is one thing I have noticed and I'll put it as a seperate post, I've noticed that after BC I developped this hypersensitivity to any mosquito bites. I never had this before, after the bite the area gets red and swellen and one time I had to take anibiotics, because it was growing. And everytime it seems I have to take Benadryl etc... I have a question for you also, did you particiapte in UW trial Vaccine or any other Vaccine?

Big hug,

Lexi,

Thank you Jesus, from me too. About the spider bite. Do keep a good watch. I know a man without BC that had a spider bite that got out of control. His doctors were sort of asleep at the switch.

Hugs and prayers from me, Catherine

Lexi.

Glad it's looking good. I should have wagered money with my bite guess. Only guessed that because my husband had one truly ugly, makes you go to the Dr, bite 2 years ago. Bev
