Hi, I just saw an invasive Radiologist at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He wants to place small coils or "Plugs" to cut off the blood supplies to my larger tumors in my liver. At the same time he will insert gel foam that has been impregnated with chemo tha will slowly dissapate throughout the liver and hopefully take care of the smaller tumors. Has anyone heard of this or had it done? It sounds good to me. He believes in saving rfa as a last measure if other procedures don't work.
