TIPTOE & TEX - Revised Schedule #4
(SEE POST FURTHER DOWN FOR LATEST SCHEDULE.)
Okay, gang. I will try to make this as straightforward as possible. Will only keep the REAL schedule and one color.
Mary Anne in TX had to bow out for now as she will be away during her new visit slot. So, I will move up Pink Girl and she can send to Marie who will forward the fuzzy duo to Andi. After that, the schedule is again open.
Any takers??
Anyone else - chime in to be added to this list. Someone give them a breather after the south Florida Aug heat! (Just kidding, I know Andi is well air conditioned!)

4. Mid March to 25 Mar - Jones to LILY (N. Carolina) - might as well keep them through Easter
5. Early to Mid April - Lily to STEPHN (Washington) Steph to take them to San Diego on April 11 for conference & fun with Joe!
6. Mid April - early May - StephN to MADUBOIS, who will take them from San Diego to Long Island on April 16, then send to BHutch in time for Denver.
7. End April to May 8 - Madubois to BHUTCH (Texas) for May 2 Denver Days of Caring.
8. May 8 to late May - Bhutch to HAZELJOYCE (Mass. - for her end of treatment shindig on May 15th) Bhutch will have a shortened visit and ship them to Hazeljoyce so she has them before May 15th.
9. End of May to mid June - Hazeljoyce to SASSY (Virginia)
10. End June to JULY 10 - Sassy sends to JOANNE S (Michigan) Hope Joanne has a fun 4th of July for them!
11. Mid to late July - Joanne S to PINK GIRL (Canada - and where the whirlwind journey all began - happy homecoming!)
12. End July to Aug 10 - Pink Girl sends to BELIEVE51 (Rhode Island) for a revisit
13. Mid August to late August - Believe51 sends to ANDI (Florida), also for revisit with Andi and her cute pups.

Found suspicious lump 9/2000
Lumpectomy, then node dissection and port placement
Stage IIB, 8 pos nodes of 18, Grade 3, ER & PR -
Adriamycin 12 weekly, taxotere 4 rounds
36 rads - very little burning
3 mos after rads liver full of tumors, Stage IV Jan 2002, one spot on sternum
Weekly Taxol, Navelbine, Herceptin for 27 rounds to NED!
2003 & 2004 no active disease - 3 weekly Herceptin + Zometa
Jan 2005 two mets to brain - Gamma Knife on Jan 18
All clear until treated cerebellum spot showing activity on Jan 2006 brain MRI & brain PET
Brain surgery on Feb 9, 2006 - no cancer, 100% radiation necrosis - tumor was still dying
Continue as NED while on Herceptin & quarterly Zometa
Fall-2006 - off Zometa - watching one small brain spot (scar?)
2007 - spot/scar in brain stable - finished anticoagulation therapy for clot along my port-a-catheter - 3 angioplasties to unblock vena cava
2008 - Brain and body still NED! Port removed and scans in Dec.
Dec 2008 - stop Herceptin - Vaccine Trial at U of W begun in Oct. of 2011
STILL NED everywhere in Feb 2014 - on wing & prayer
7/14 - Started twice yearly Zometa for my bones
Jan. 2015 checkup still shows NED
2015 Neuropathy in feet - otherwise all OK - still NED.
Same news for 2016 and all of 2017.
Nov of 2017 - had small skin cancer removed from my face. Will have Zometa end of Jan. 2018.

Hi, StephN! Would you mind changing the critters schedule one more time? I finished my Herceptin today and I'll be celebrating tomorrow evening.
The kids could go from bhutch right to Sassy. That would also give bhutch a chance to enjoy them for a longer time.

I can't help but wonder, do you have an MBA as an event planner?
If not, you sure have earned it. Whew am I impressed, and when the
guys do go over seas and travel abroad let's set them up with little passports...and they can be stamped. (if you haven't already done that)

Hello everyone -
Tiptoe and Tex are with me and are resting on my Herceptin blanket after a busy weekend.
Thanks Jean. I have not been an Event Planner officially, but I have worked with large groups. If you want a visit, I am sure it can be arranged.
PASSPORT is missing. There was one for Tip when she came from Pink Girl in Canada, but it has disappeared some time before the visit to Lily. Hope it turns up!!
There are a couple of changes so this is the LATEST!

If Tiptoe could arrive at my brother's place before he flies to Tokyo in late August for a conference on Computers in Agriculture; he could bring her with him and then back to Ithaca, NY again to save on her airfare to and from Japan and also tour some famous spots in and around Tokyo with us all...I hope he gets back to me on his itinerary so I can make a more specific request.

I think the kids are on the way to me before May 1... Maryanne emailed me about them this week. I will take them to Denver for the CURE Day of Caring weekend, and then will put them on the express train to KCherub in Georgia the week of May 5.

Oct'08~ dropped Xeloda, switched to tri-weekly Herceptin in combo with Tykerb, extend to tri-monthly Zometa infusion
Dec'08~ Brain MRI- 4 spots reduced to punctate size, large spot shrunk by 3mm, CT of torso clear/pelvis spot stable
June'09~ new 3-4mm left cerrebellar spot zapped with IMRT targeted rads
Sept'09~ new 6mm & 1 cm spots in pituitary/optic chiasm area. Rx= 25 days of 3D conformal fractionated targeted IMRT to the tumors.
Oct'09~ 25 days of low dose 3D conformal fractionated targeted IMRT to the bone mets spot on rt. iliac crest that have been watching for 2 years. Added daily Aromasin back into treatment regimen.
Apr'10~ Brain MRI clear! But, see new small spot on adrenal gland. Change from Aromasin back to Tamoxifen.
June'10~ Tumor markers (CA15.3) dropped from 37 to 23 after one month on Tamoxifen. Continue to monitor adrenal gland spot. Remain on Tykerb/Herceptin/Tamoxifen.
Nov'10~ Radiate positive mediastinal node that was pressing on recurrent laryngeal nerve, causing paralyzed larynx and a funny voice.
Jan'11~ MRI shows possible activity or perhaps just scar tissue/necrotic increase on 3 previously treated brain spots and a pituitary spot. 5 days of IMRT on 4 spots.
Feb'11~ Enrolled in T-DM1 EAP in Denver, first treatment March 25, 2011.
Mar'11~ Finally started T-DM1 EAP in Denver at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center/Rose on Mar. 25... hallelujah.

Sept'05~ micro mets lungs/chest nodes/underarm node, Switched to Aromasin, T/C/H x 7, NED 6 months - Herceptin only
Aug'06~ micro mets chest nodes, & bone spot @ C3 neck, Added Taxol to Herceptin
Feb'07~ Genetic testing, BRCA 1&2 neg
Apr'07~ MRI - two 9mm brain mets & 5 punctates, new left chest met, & small increase of bone spot C3 neck, Stopped Aromasin
May'07~ Started Tykerb/Xeloda, no WBR for now
June'07~ MRI - stable brain mets, no new mets, 9mm spots less enhanced, CA15.3 down 45.5 to 9.3 in 10 wks, Ty/Xel working magic!
Aug'07~ MRI - brain mets shrunk half, NO NEW BRAIN METS!!, TMs stable @ 9.2
Oct'07~ PET/CT & MRI show NED
Apr'08~ scans still show NED in the head, small bone spot on right iliac crest (rear pelvic bone)
Sept'08~ MRI shows activity in brain mets, completed 5 fractions/5 consecutive days of IMRT to zap the pesky buggers
Oct'08~ dropped Xeloda, switched to tri-weekly Herceptin in combo with Tykerb, extend to tri-monthly Zometa infusion
Dec'08~ Brain MRI- 4 spots reduced to punctate size, large spot shrunk by 3mm, CT of torso clear/pelvis spot stable
June'09~ new 3-4mm left cerrebellar spot zapped with IMRT targeted rads
Sept'09~ new 6mm & 1 cm spots in pituitary/optic chiasm area. Rx= 25 days of 3D conformal fractionated targeted IMRT to the tumors.
Oct'09~ 25 days of low dose 3D conformal fractionated targeted IMRT to the bone mets spot on rt. iliac crest that have been watching for 2 years. Added daily Aromasin back into treatment regimen.
Apr'10~ Brain MRI clear! But, see new small spot on adrenal gland. Change from Aromasin back to Tamoxifen.
June'10~ Tumor markers (CA15.3) dropped from 37 to 23 after one month on Tamoxifen. Continue to monitor adrenal gland spot. Remain on Tykerb/Herceptin/Tamoxifen.
Nov'10~ Radiate positive mediastinal node that was pressing on recurrent laryngeal nerve, causing paralyzed larynx and a funny voice.
Jan'11~ MRI shows possible activity or perhaps just scar tissue/necrotic increase on 3 previously treated brain spots and a pituitary spot. 5 days of IMRT on 4 spots.
Feb'11~ Enrolled in T-DM1 EAP in Denver, first treatment March 25, 2011.
Mar'11~ Finally started T-DM1 EAP in Denver at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center/Rose on Mar. 25... hallelujah.

I made sure I took ate my blueberries and took my brain enhancing drugs before I emailed Marlys! This time I sent the correct address, I did, I did! I promise!
Actually, when I screwed it up before, we had just moved to our new house in a tiny town only 10 miles outside of Austin, but after living in Austin for the last 20 years, I habitually put Austin as our city instead of the name of our town. It was an innocent mistake, but one that created a bit of a pain in the a$$. Oops.

No Tiptoe And Tex At My Doorstep
Hi all - Brenda here (hutchibk) - I am in Denver for the CURE Day of Caring. Will let you know how it is, should be chalk full of good info that I can share.
Just wanted to let you all know that Tip Toe and Tex did not show up on my doorstep before I left today, so they are not making an appearance at the conference...I don't know where they are in their travels, and I guess I don't know that they are actually coming my way after all,
as the only reason they were to come to me was so that I could bring them to this conference and then ship them to their next destination tuit suite.
If Marlys sends the passport my way, just let me know where to send it...

Ok, I'm home from Denver and Tip and Tex are waiting for me at the post office. I am not even going to open them this time, I am going to send them straight away to KCherub. I need a mailing address...
