From trials I have read huge number of genes directly and indirectly are up and down expressed by fats let alone the whole gamit of foods.

Some by BIG factors10 times.

These genes are the same genes involved at a fundamental level and hence impact on eg heart and vascular health for a start.

Foods cannot change your genes. They are set for life. But behaviors (diet and exercise as well as other environmental factors) can change the way those genes are expressed (or the way they are turned on or off).

A technical article, but the generality of the role and intereactions of the stroma in the development of BC are thought provoking and again emphasise the complexity of it all, the subtle developement, the potential for environmental factors including diet to have a significant long term impact, is ver interesting.
