half way through chemo - finished No. 3 yesterday
YEAH - finished treatment number three yesterday with my TCH and so far doing really well - will go for my Nuelesta shot today and then probably Sunday the aches will happen - but if they are like the last two will only last for about 3 days! That is not the issue/problem with me - I hate the metallic taste and that all my foods taste burnt -- not good --- but then if that is the worst than I can cope! The hair loss - was used to that immediately and not I am actually thinking about having my picture taking professionally as a reminder of the journey and I would like it to look good and not one taken by my lovely and supportive husband -- LOL
Hope that everyone else is doing good!!
HUGS
Bev

Halfway is a good thing! And the photo is a cool idea. I wish I had done it. I think we look beautiful bald. Strong. And the photos serve as a reminder.
Keep the faith.

Congrats Bev. I had my picture taken with my bald uncle. Everyone said we looked just alike! (I do look like him, even with hair.)

Re: half way through chemo - finished No. 3 yesterday
Congratulations! I am right behind you. I have TCH #3 next week 3/30 on Wednesday. I hope you are feeling strong!
I love the week just before chemo- it's such a great feeling to feel good.
I like you struggle w/ the taste. Also, I get thrush each time (or have w/ tx 1 and2). I do start on meds for it early, but it's annoying!
Congrats on being halfway there! I look forward to that milestone too.
I too would like to get a photo of me and and my bald head!
Lisa
