I spent loads of time towards the end of this past summer emailing with one of the lead researchers on this trial in Vancouver on behalf of my partner Rachel (we live near Boston). For awhile it was looking good but ultimately they told us that their ethics board ruled that they couldn't enroll women outside the immmediate area of the involved centers. Which was a big bummer. But it gives one more ammunition in searching around for US oncologists who might give it outside of a trial; in other words it might be worth asking folks if they'd be willing to follow the HERA protocol which is quite simple.
