Hi- I've been on the Avastin Herceptin trail since late March 2004 and at least 90% of the metastatic skin tumors (some as large as an inch and a half) have melted away. The internal tumors which are large are also getting softer but I have a ways to go. During the time that the skin tumors were draining I had alot of pain and had to take more painkillers (oxycodone and oxycontin). Now that I have a healthy scar in place of the tumor I have much less pain but recently had to go through a rough withdrawal period. My hope is that this combo can continue until NED.
