HER2's with mets trial

I have no idea whether this trial is a good idea or not, but no one has mentioned it so I'm throwing it out for consideration:

Vinflunine Plus Trastuzumab in HER2 Over-Expressing Metastatic Breast Cancer

This study is currently recruiting patients.

Purpose

This research study involves the anti-cancer medication trastuzumab adn the investigational drug vinflunine. The purpose of this trials is to see if trastuzumab and vinflunine used in combination or vinflunine alone is effective in the treatment of metastatic breast cancer

So, this drug is in the "Navelbine" family? This looks more interesting as I think the Navelbine/Xeloda combination is an excellent one but this looks better if used with Xeloda and Avastin since they are saying this new drug has anti-vascular activity on its own.


Just thinking out loud again.
