San Antonio 2010: Volunteers?

Is there a specific procedure for volunteering to travel with this year's delegation to the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium? How many of us will be traveling and are volunteer travelers still needed?

Thanks in advance for any information anyone might have.

Re: San Antonio 2010: Volunteers?

I had emailed Danielle, because I had promised Joe last year that I would do it this time around. I think we must contact Becky, so hopefully she will see this.

BTW, if you make any of the recipes with the whole wheat flour, such as the muffins, I think it helps to add some applesauce to the mix for added moisture.

I think you must PM Becky; at least, that is what Danielle suggested to me. Since I have not gotten to that yet, will you please let her know if she needs another body besides yours I am also willing? Brenda (Hutchbk) had said she could stand to room with me (but she doesn't know about by nightly teeth grinding, sleep walking, sleep talking, excessive flatulence issues... so keep that under your hat, ok?) to curb expenses. Regardless, it would be fun to meet you, if not this year then in the future.

Re: San Antonio 2010: Volunteers?

Hi,
I just contacted Becky. I know there are folks who didn't get a chance to go last year who would love to go if room allows.
I was lucky enough to go last year so should not be first in line this year.
I will pm you soon about the Flynn book.
K

Re: San Antonio 2010: Volunteers?

Joe invited me last year. I would have loved to have gone. I have the same problem this year. I have to give finals. It will be inspirational for whoever goes.

Re: San Antonio 2010: Volunteers?

Hey, Karen. We're working on this. Right now we've got a rough list of 9-10 people, including you. There's 5 rooms reserved, and right now I'm working with Becky on figuring out the rest of the details of the trip. Sorry for such a delay in response! As you can imagine, things have been pretty hectic here at the house!
