H1N1 flu

So my son has been having flu symptom since Saturday. Since regular flu season is not here yet and only H1N1 flu is around since summer, anyone who has the flu is considered to have the H1N1 flu. Despite my most vigilant isolation procedure, my wife (with low white count) is starting to develop fever and chill. I have started her on Tamiflu. Is there anything else I can do? Many thanks.

Wink Re: H1N1 flu

Call your wife's doctor and get an appointment as soon as possible. Follow all general guidelines for the flu-------plenty of rest, warm liquids etc.
If your wife can tolerate fresh vegetables, mushrooms and fruit those foods help to boost the white blood count. You can lightly cook those foods or make fresh juice from them. Good old fashioned chicken soup might help too.
I hope your wife and child feel better soon.
