Question Carcinomatosis Meningeal: Kadcyla

Hi All,
i currently have carcinomatosis meningeal mets due to breast her2.

I'm just wondering if Kadcyla(TDM1) intranervous is enough/efficient to contrast carcinomatosis meningeal or if some other way should be considered.

Thank you so much.
Regards.

Hi,

Im sorry to hear you are having this complication due to breast cancer.

Did you ask your doctor? I think this is such a complicated medical issue that it needs to be brought to your doctor's attention.

When were you diagnosed and at what age?

Please keep us posted, we care about you.

On behalf of my Her2+ sisters,

Adriana

Re: Carcinomatosis Meningeal: Kadcyla

I suggest you go to the search function and put in intrathecal herceptin, also put in Rolepaul. Rolepaul has been in the pharmaceutical industry and has a wife with leptomeningeal metastases from her2+ breast cancer.

I posted about 8.5 -9 years ago regarding intrathecal herceptin for LM mets, but
my knowledge is only gleened from the literature, attending international meetings and speaking with researchers. His knowledge is through his wife's treatment and through years of helping get her what seems to work for her.

I believe he is eager to get her or getting her intrathecal pertuzumab.

I believe if he does not see this and respond you could PM Rulepaul.

Hope this helps.

(PS if you put into the search leptomeningeal metastases and Lani you can see whatever articles from the literature I have posted, including one very old one on Boswellia

Good luck!
