Yikes! Computer glitch on my Mammogram

I had a mammogram last week and received a letter asking me to come in for a follow-up for further evaluation.

After a bit of confusion and 3 calls to make a new appointment, someone called stating it was determined to be a computer glitch and a new letter was coming out to me stating that everything appears to be normal.

Yikes! I had a few anxious moments for sure.

Another friend said the same thing happened to her - must be the same software.

Re: Yikes! Computer glitch on my Mammogram

I had my mammo last November and received a letter indicating that they wanted to follow up with the suspicious area that was being evaluated in 6 months. What suspisious area. I wasn't aware of any area. When I called and asked about this they said that there copy of the letter said that everything was normal. Then they said they sent me someone elses letter. What, it had my name on it and someone elses report. Kinda a big mistake I think to someone who has already went thru this whole breast cancer thing. Oh well, it was normal. Amen.
