WOW...
I cried, my husband cried and my daughter ...well she IS a teenager.
I read this just today..

"Heroes give instead of take. They act instead of talk. They step forward and do the hard and unseen jobs,to give the best of themselves- measuring their own success not by wealth or comfort, but by the lives they touch along the way..."

J.F. Peterson

I believe this describes our Dr Slamon~ I am beyond grateful for his personal sacrifices and those of the women who came before me, and those currently in trials..

Just finished watching the movie. Incredible. It touched deep down inside my soul. My heartfelt gratitude to Dr Slamon, his wife for the support she gave him and all those involved in the clinical trials. It has all given life to so many.

Hi Val!!
I'm still rolling along with writing my book, I had wished for your professional touch, but understand your too busy to make this story a great hit. It will probably take me longer than I anticipated, since I will be doing it alone. I plan on pictures. I really wanted to share my mothers battle with breast cancer years after taking DES to help prevent losing me when she fell and was 4 months pregnant with me. It's a story that needs to be told.
Thanks for your post.
Hugs, Christine
