Hi Sandy: I also gained weight while on chemo (20 lbs) partly because I was nausiated (sp) most of the time so I would have a bite of this and some of that to try to feel better. I managed to lose 15 of those pounds about 6 months ago by eating almost totally vegitarian but I have gained 10 of those lbs back!!! I think it helps if you try to loose wieght with someone else....you can call them and complain and they will listen to you whine. LOL
Take Care, Linda

Ditto, only in my case 14 kilos, what's that 2 stone.... 30 pounds. Ehgads!! But I am sure it's a combination of factors.... i) a loss of stamina and tiredness leading to less excercise, ii) a lack of concern about diet (especially with an ulcer and the desire/need to snack on things to quell the symptoms) and iii) the steroids
A triple whammy!!@#@$%^^^***
I hope I have a long remission to deal with it all before the next round hits!
But I don't want to feel so negative... so why think about it???
