just saying hi

Haven't been on in a while, just couldn't deal with it for awhile. I've decided of the support groups i visit I'm only going to visit this one because I had overload. You're my first and my favorite. No offense if you're on any of the others. I had the flu and then a sinus infection so i got some unexpected time off from work. Too bad I spent it sleeping. Back when I had that, I was supposed to go for a mammo and then checkup with rad onc. Been puting both off. Don't know why, just have. I'll try to remember calling next week. My pregnant daughter-in-law has been having braxton hicks contractions and they think she'll go early. From the baby's size he should be okay if she does. Still worried about the cf though and now from an ultrasound one kidney is bigger than the other. Don't know what that could mean, but I'm sure I'll be able to find something on the internet. It was really nice to see so many of you still here and surprised at all of the newbies. To you I say welcome!

Hi there, Juanita! It's good to hear from you again. Don't feel bad, if you had the flu and a sinus infection, and slept the whole time, I think that was a good thing. You needed the rest. I hope you're feeling better now. Hoping and praying everything goes well with your daughter-in-law and her baby. Love, Bill

Hi Juanita....................."and God Bless Juanita" Have you ever seen "The Sound Of Music" - remember that part when Maria is kneeling by her bed and praying and she forgets one of the children's names? Well, a while ago I posted a thread asking where Becky was - I thought of some others I haven't seen but for the life of me couldn't remember names. One was Jean - someone reminded me of her name and now I remember your name I'm not good with people's names, I apologize.

Anyway, it's so nice to see you. Sorry you've had the the flu. I heard that flu bug going around is awful. I'm glad you're feeling better now.

Please get in for your mammogram Juanita. It's important. You know that. I understand how easy it would be to "forget" that appointment, but please don't.

Welcome back - come back again soon, ok!!

Hugs to you and I pray all goes well for your daughter in law and new baby.

Mary Jo

Hi, Juanita! Good to see you back and hoping you are almost all better!

I agree about this board--no offense to the other boards, but some of them have so much bickering and nonsense, that I usually just read! :P

Take care,

Well I now have an empty house, kinda. My son and pregnant daughter-in-law moved out today.. They got their own apartment. I think their delusional but my door is always open. But the good thing about the weekend is that my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter came up from Kentucky and will be here for Easter. HOORAY! I get to see Dilly hunt for Easter eggs. Happy Easter everyone!
