Rose called and asked me to write a letter of recommendation for her cancer foundation, she needed one from me, a person that lived the journey. There will be 5 letters total and the other 4 are from a Bank President and other powerful voices. This letter will be going to an advisor responsible for her organizational donations and investors. Looks like I will be working at her foundation in August. Once these letters are read and approved she will have a release of funds. Woola, a cancer foundation and the only one of its kind. She is looking at property today but I will be working mostly at home. There will be those times however, that I will be pubic speaking or talking with drug companies and such. This week she is forming her Board of Directors but she will not release that until August.

As Joe has stated in another post, one needs legal permission before posting certain things to the public. I am also going to personally speak with him as to what I can legally say or do on his site. I do not want to be associated with a 'group' other that Her2 either. I need to remain Believe51 and although I do want to help others I do not want to mix Believe with an organization on this site....unless I can that is.>>Believe51.....soon to be employed

I just extended Genentech a professional courtesy. As we are considered and soon you will be: patient advocates. As such, you no longer are bound by HIPPA restrictions and are considered healthcare professionals.

We are then allowed to freely discuss patients, drugs and treatments with the pharmaceutical companies and many times we become aware of confidential data not generally released to the public.

In order to preserve these ties, we generally agree to their requests. Keep in mind. If the HER2 Support Group were to get sued, all we could lose would be our assets, and could easily form a new corporation and be online the next day. The pharmaceutical companies have a lot more to lose.

I also must add, we have never been pressured by any pharmaceutical company to favor their products over their competitors or to change any content on our website.

Write some letters on our behalf. I need a $ 1 million endowment for 10 years.

Joe, I will gladly start that project for you in the next few days. When Rose's money is released it will be in a lump sum of $2 million dollars. After that our yearly goal will be $52 million.

I was more worried about the safety of this site and the identity I presume. I am touched and honored to move forward to help us all.>>Believe51

I am sure a little of everything, Rich; Pharmaceutical companies, petitioning for clinical trials, raising major funding from large investors, speaking at conventions about breast cancer, working closely with oncologists and medical professionals. I will be doing research and following research as it is released. Working closely with Medicare/Medicaid, the Tommorow Fund, other cancer organizations, etc. Mostly left to the freedom of just complimenting the foundation the way I do now in life. I will be a smorgasbord of experience and talent that is perfect just the way I am. It is this journey and what Ed and I have been through that is of value to Rose and she needs me to compliment all of her plights by continuing to be me. Well, atleast I know I got that one down (lol)!

This will be life just like we live now but it will give me a 'bite' to help even more to advocate for breast cancer, male and female. I plan on doing some damage, saving lifes and getting the resources to the cancer patient directly. I will help in a more personal way. I am eventually going to Washington but it is a 'my baby' project. I also have many commitments that are of my own doing. The balance will come easy since I am on little time restrictions.

I will be working at a cancer foundation but breast cancer is where I can help best. I will also be working patient by patient advocacy and providing resources and such. Bittersweet huh???>>Believe51

Rich, I cannot tell you how hard I am laughing right now, something that 'you' got down. I will not fix the error for the time being because I am thinking that others will laugh, hopefully as hard as I am. You are one crazy man and I adore your warped sense of humor.
