Thumbs up Scans: Stable!

I had scans last week, PET/CT and MUGA, and the news is good: MUGA stable at 50.3%, and PET/CT showing minor activity in the area of concern, the right axilla, with the largest node now slightly smaller...PLUS, the left supraclavicular node not showing any activity at all! This is very good news to me, I am thrilled, especially since I'm on the smallest dose of Xeloda, 500mg 2x's daily, along with my maintenance Herceptin. Just wanted to let you all know

<3 Lolly

P.S. Haven't had a Brain MRI yet; my regular onc is on vacation so I'll be talking to him about that when he's back next month.

Lolly -

This IS good news, especially since you are chipping away at these nodes with "small artillery" and it is having the desired effect. More of the same, please!

Whooo Hoooo!

Lolly,

That's so great! I know what a relief that must be. Keep up the good work!

Love, Kim]

P.S. I was having the exact same computer problems that you experienced. I kept getting the "attempted attack warnings" and then my computer would freeze. It only happened on the Her2 site. Everything is working fine now(knock wood!)

I really missed my daily Her2 fix! (even if I don't always have time to post)

Her2 serum test

Lolly,

I remember you saying that your Her2 serum score is around 12, which is in the normal range. I am wondering why is it in the normal range when you had an evidence of desease in the lymph nodes. I am also getting this test done and it is always in the normal range between 6 and 8. Now I am really suspecious whether the test is reliable for small mets.
